MacOS X Snow Leopard
Sharing -> File Sharing -> Share files and folders using FTP
MacOS X Lion
Write the following in the terminal:
sudo -s launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ftp.plist
Enable the IIS FTP Service, or use the free software FileZilla Server found at http://filezilla-project.org/
Enable the FTP module.
